If you’ve ever been busy at work and wondered how you’d make the time to run out and get lunch there’s a new way for you to get your favorite lunch or dinner options to come to you.
It’s through a new locally owned business called eatinnow.com, and it’s also providing people with flexible job opportunities. Eatinnow.com allows customers to go online and take a look at the menus from some of their favorite restaurants in Belmont County and place an order, then have their food show up within a 12-mile radius, “Basically, the idea is, we can take food from any part of the lower Ohio Valley and we can put it anywhere else in the lower Ohio Valley and we can also make all of those restaurants available to everyone else, within the lower Ohio Valley,” said Owner and Founder of eatinnow.com, Josh Brovermn.
The idea behind eatinnow.com is very similar to other businesses, like GrubHub, that are in major cities; where a driver will pick up your food and deliver it to you, “If they choose delivery, they go ahead and put in their information and one of my drivers is sent out to them and they get their food and they can pay with cash or credit. They can pay with credit over the website, or they can pay with cash when the driver gets there,” Broverman added.
Restaurants online right now include Gulla’s Lunch and Gulla’s Next-Door, Denny’s Blue Angel, the Tiger Pub, The Roosevelt, Lil’ Gerardo’s Pizza, Ideal Provisions, and more jumping on board, “I thought it was a pretty good idea and wanted to give it a try and I’m glad to be part of it,” said the Owner and Operator of Gulla’s Lunch, Paul Gulla.
This is how is works, You log onto eatinnow.com, click on your favorite restaurant, find your favorite dish, and check out. A text message will then be sent to one of the drivers, who will then pick up your food, and a fax and a telephone call with your order, goes out to the restaurant, “We’re delivering over to Wheeling Hospital, we’ve had some deliveries up to Ferry, who are some regular customers and some might be new customers, but I think it’s doing good and we are reaching out locally,” Gulla added.
Eatinnow.com hopes to continue to expand and some of the business owners hope other will hop online with them to provide as many online food options as they can.
