Ohio County Working to Correct Board of Education Ballot Issue

Ohio County Commissioner Tim McCormick says they will make a ballot adjustment for the Ohio County Board of Education race.

Commissioner McCormick says they are currently working with the West Virginia Secretary of State office to have all six Board of Education candidates names put onto one page.

They have moved some writing from the top of the ballot, condensed it, and made room on the page for Sarah Koegler’s name, which was previously placed on a page by itself.

ES&S, a computer software company, is working to reprogram software. However, county officials aren’t sure how long it will take for the company to make the changes, but expect it will be ready by or before May 10.
