TROY, Ohio (AP) – Police in western Ohio say they will file a marijuana-possession charge against a student accused of bringing pot brownies to school last week.

Officers were called to Troy High School, north of Dayton, on Thursday after someone reported a female student had brought in a pan of brownies laced with marijuana.

Police said the girl was pulled from class and other students who ate the brownies were questioned. None of them became ill. Parents were notified, and school officials say the students will be disciplined on a case-by-case basis.

Troy police Capt. Chris Anderson tells the Dayton Daily News (http://bit.ly/1EOfn2O ) that any drug situation in the schools is taken seriously “just to let everyone know we can’t have this in our school system.”
