Ohio man convicted of unlawful possession of firearms


 An Ohio man was convicted of unlawful possession of a firearm in federal court on Monday.

Darrick D. Fleming, II, 28, of Cleveland was previously convicted in the Court of Common Pleas of Franklin County, Ohio of the felony offense of “Carrying a Concealed Weapon.” As a result of that conviction, he is prohibited form possessing firearms. He was subsequently discovered in June 2015 in Ohio County in unlawful possession of a 9mm pistol.

Fleming pled guilty Monday to a criminal Information charging him with one count of “Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm.” He faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
