Ohio State Gear Flies Off Shelves at Local Sports Stores

Ohio State fans are not only loyal to their team, but very prepared.

For the last few weeks fans have been busy gearing up for the 2015 Sugar Bowl, getting everything from t-shirts to face tattoos.

Several sports stores at the Ohio Valley Mall are even running out of stock due to shoppers swarming the stores to find the perfect shirt to show their pride.

According to MC Sports Store Manager Nathan Tinstman, this has been going on for weeks-boosting their sales.

“It definitely elevated them especially with the excitement of the bowl game, Tinstman says. “Its been extremely good for us. Its been one of the most selling Christmas gifts this year. “

It was a similar scene for Hibbett Sports.

“We defiantly have been doing well on sales, because we are running out of everything,” Hibbett Sports Manager Laken Ramsay says.

Both stores have special bowl game shirts, sweatshirts and hats to offer fans.

Hibbett Sports is also running a 20 percent off sale on all college apparel.

So If you are still in need of some gear, you are in luck!
