The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced the loss of one of it’s drug detecting K9 officers on Wednesday.
Officials with the OSHP say their K9 named Euro passed away over the weekend due to natural causes.
Euro seized more than 50 pounds of cocaine, 10 pounds of heroin, thousands of Rx pills, hundreds of pounds of marijuana and hundreds of thousands of dollars in currency during his short, two-and-a-half-year career with the Patrol.
