Snow has stacked up over a foot high in some areas in the Ohio Valley after a week of heavy snow fall.
Residents are spending their day Sunday digging out, but the winter weather isn’t over yet.
People should prepare for yet another week of more snow showers, expected to hit the Ohio Valley again on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
In addition, two more bitter rounds of cold air will begin Sunday night dropping to the single digits.
Highs will rise to about 12 degrees on Monday.
Slick spots will continue Monday morning as some school delays will be possible.
Some of the back roads could contain anything from slush to ice or water.
Belmont County is under a level 2 and Monroe County is under a level 1.
Residents planning to travel should do so very carefully as temperatures will be in the upper 20’s to below freezing and slick areas will continue.
