Ohio Valley Students Receive Financial Help for College

Paying for college just got a little bit easier for eight non-traditional students from the local area.

A local private foundation has given the students from West Liberty University a one time award of $1,250.   The money will be applied right to their tuition.

All of the students receiving the scholarships are enrolled in either a (BLA) Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Administration or (MPS) Master of Professional Studies.

The Ohio Valley students that received scholarships included Steven Lauck and Sherri Tomblin from Hancock County as well as John Cornforth, Amanda Crow, Sara Hall, Teresa Moore, Benjamin Nobile, and Kacey Orr from Ohio County.

WTRF.com would like to say congratulations to all the recipients.
