The Buckeye State is marking the one year anniversary of a program geared toward saving young lives.
The Start Talking program was created to educate young people around the state about the dangers of abusing prescription pills.
It was launched by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and its been highly successful promoting good decision-making and healthy behaviors when it comes to pain medication.
Gov. John Kasich said some new initiatives will be included in the program in the year to come, which will help businesses promote drug-free workplaces.
