Orrick’s Global Operations Center in Wheeling is spreading some holiday warmth. They are once again partnering with local charities to collect warm winter clothing items for those in need this winter.
This year marks Orrick’s 150th Anniversary and they are celebrating by giving back to the communities where they are located. Orrick officials said last year’s warm clothing drive was quite a success, and they are hoping to reach even more people this year.
They are looking for a number of things including sweatshirts, socks, mittens, gloves, long pants, coats, and anything that could keep someone warm. “And financial donations, both internally and from the community as well,” said Shae Leach, with Orrick Global Operations.
“We’re very excited that the firm in addition to all the clothing items and funding we’ve been collecting, is providing an additional 1,500 to the warm clothing drive, which is fantastic,” said John Grant with Orrick.
You can drop off donations between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Orrick’s Global Operations Center at 2121 Main Street in Wheeling, through Wednesday, December 17.
