Over 100 Students Participate in Marshall County Special Olympics


 Over 130 special needs students from across Marshall County gathered for their favorite day of the year, the Special Olympics, held at John Marshall High School.

The students participated in a number of events, including track, running, throwing, and jumping. There were also adapted events for students in wheelchairs.

160 peer tutors from John Marshall and Cameron High Schools also helped out. Every athlete was able to take home three medals.

Numerous businesses helped to sponsor the event.
