Two Wetzel County parents met with the board of education on Thursday morning regarding their special needs son, Roy.
Roy’s parents want him to keep attending Hundred high school, avoiding taking a one hour bus ride both ways to Magnolia.
According to county policy, students with “extreme” specials needs must attend Magnolia, regardless of where they live.
Roy’s parents said he had flourished at Hundred last year, and would like to keep him there.
