Pennsylvania State Police Respond to Fatal Car Accident


Pennsylvania State Police responded to a fatal accident along SR 79 Saturday morning.

The driver was driving in the left lane trying to make a right turn when control of the car was lost and began to go sideways.

Officials reported as the driver switched to the right lane, the car went up the roadway up an embankment. The car traveled on the embankment sideways before coming back down onto the berm of the southbound lanes.

The car overturned and ejected the driver. The driver was found in the right lane next to the front passenger’s side tire.

Officials reported the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the driver was Zachary Zatezalo of Pittsburgh.
