A new report released Thursday said economic benefits could be on the way to some workers in West Virginia.
The report highlights the development of the Mountain Valley Pipeline Project, saying it could lead to more than $500,000,000 in construction contracts and up to 4,000 jobs. Officials said it would have a huge impact on the state, and the region as a whole.
The underground natural gas pipeline would start in Wetzel County and travel about 300 miles over 11 counties in the state.
