Pennsylvania State Police say the inmate who escaped from the Greene County Prison over the weekend is back in custody.
Waylon Hanlan, 27, was spotted by a helicopter in Greene County, Tuesday night. After a short chase, police caught up to, and arrested him.
Police say Hanlan escaped through a fenced in area of the prison Sunday night and ran into the woods, where his sister was reportedly waiting in a car.
Hanlan’s sister is facing charges for helping him.
Hanlan had been in Greene County Prison since December 11th for a probation violation after being originally charged of fleeing, eluding, and simple assault.
