Three people have been arrested in Jefferson County after a routine traffic stop.
Police say they found heroin, hypodermic syringes and drug paraphernalia after pulling over a vehicle in the 2100 block of Sunset Boulevard, late Thursday night.
According to police, Michael M. Lazabeck, 30, of Toronto, Ohio; Ryan J. Strachan-Dugan, 24, of Steubenville; and Timothy Morris, 27, of Toronto, Ohio were arrested and face several drug-related charges.
Lazabeck was charged for Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments, Tampering with Evidence, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Strachan-Dugan was arrested on a charge for Possession of Drugs – Heroin. He posted bond Friday morning.
Morris, the driver of the vehicle, was charged with Drug Abuse after police say he admitted to shooting up heroin earlier in the day. He was also cited for driving without his headlights displayed.
Lazabeck and Morris are being held under $2,500 bond each and all are scheduled to appear in Municipal Court on February 19 at 10:00 a.m..
