Police arrested two men after they found a woman in a shower, bleeding from the neck from an apparent stab wound.

Steubenville police said they received a call about 3 a.m. Saturday from a woman saying she was bleeding. When officers arrived to LaBelle Court, they said a blue Chevy Taurus drove away, but they were able to track the driver, Lonnie Smith, down.

When police entered the home the saw a man, identified as Todd Jackson, standing at the top of the stairs. After refusing to come down the stairs numerous times, police said Jackson finally complied.

Upon further investigation, police found blood leading into the bathroom and could hear the shower running. Officers found a woman with a large amount of blood coming from her neck.

Police arrested both Jackson and later tracked down Smith and arrested him.

Jackson was charged with felonious assault and retaliation.

Smith was charged with fleeing and eluding, driving under the influence, tampering with evidence and complicity to felonious assault.
