Police Search for Home Invasion Suspect in Belmont County

Police in Belmont County are searching for a man with gunshot wounds in connection to a home invasion on Pipe Creek Road.

Kenneth Hall is currently on the run as he and another man broke into a house this morning. According to officials, both men were armed and assaulted the homeowner before he was able to grab his own firearm and shoot at both males, they do believe he hit them. One of the suspects is in the hospital, while they are still searching for Hall.

“A great deal of evidence that points to the fact that he sustained more than one gunshot wound, so we’d like to make sure he gets treated. Secondly, this is someone we believe was involved in a violent act, we do not want him running around,” said Detective Ryan Allar with the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s office did later arrest Kelsie Crooks in connection to the robbery. She was not in the home at the time, but was believed to be apart of it. She has been charged with Aggravated Robbery and Child Endangerment.

If you have any information about the crime police urge you to call them at 740-695-7933.
