BELLE VERNON, Pa. (AP) – Police have been searching for a woman reported missing in western Pennsylvania who also works as a clown.

Police in Washington Township, Fayette County, say 35-year-old Melody Kasmarik hasn’t been seen since Tuesday. She also is known as LuLu the Clown.

According to police and posts by her family on her Facebook page, Kasmarik’s cellphone hasn’t been reachable and she has left behind unspecified medications at her home.

Police didn’t immediately provide an update Monday.

The township borders Belle Vernon, about 25 miles south of Pittsburgh.

This story has been corrected to state that the missing woman is from Washington Township, not neighboring North Belle Vernon borough.
