Two Ohio politicians are reaching out for help to keep jobs in Shadyside after the announcement of the closure of Commercial Vehicle Group.

Ohio Senator, Lou Gentile, and State Representative, Jack Cera are trying to save the jobs that will be lost when Commercial Vehicle Group closes its doors.

The news came last week that CVG would be closing its manufacturing plant by the end of next summer, which will result in the loss of 172 local jobs.

Gentile and Cera are asking for Governor John Kasich and the head of the economic development authority to step in and help keep these jobs in the Ohio Valley.
