The 29th Annual Project Best Breakfast was held at Oglebay Resort early Wednesday morning.

The purpose of the breakfast is to bring together the more than 400 building contractors to say “thank you” for choosing to employ thousands of local trades workers for their major construction project in and around the Ohio Valley

“We’re proud to have so many and so much work going on right now, so that’s the essence of the breakfast,” said Co-Chairman for Project Best, Thomas Cerra.

“We just want to show our appreciation, because there is no rule that says that they have to use us and they choose to and we certainly appreciate that,” said Co-Chairman for Project Best Joe Miller.

Some of the organizations that received awards this morning include the City of Wheeling, Eastern Gateway Community College, and Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Racetrack, among many others.
