Route 22 Reopens in Harrison County


UPDATE 12:00 p.m. Monday

Route 22 has been reopened in Harrison County following a five-vehicle accident, according to ODOT.


UPDATE 10:00 a.m. Monday:

OSHP says Route 22 is still closed following an early morning, five-vehicle accident.  They also say two other accidents have happened since.  At least one of them was caused because of the detour.

An update is expected at noon.



As of 8:00 am Monday,  U.S. Route 22 in Harrison County, east of County Road 13, is CLOSED after an accident involving five vehicles, including a commercial sized truck.

Ohio State Highway Patrol says two people have been taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries are unknown.

Right now crews are working to clear the scene and hope to have the road re-opened within the hour.
