The push for the White House is intensifying and so are the attacks.
Today more backlash against Republican Presidential front-runner Donald Trump, and another West Virginia lawmaker is weighing in.
U.S. Senator Shelly Moore Capito condemned Trump’s remarks Wednesday, in which he suggested that no more Muslims be allowed in the United States. Capito is joining a chorus of GOP lawmakers, in saying that fellow Republican Trump could hurt relations with majority Muslim country’s like Jordan.
“We absolutely need the help of Muslim countries. And we need the support of the American Muslim community to help us strengthen the understanding of what’s going on in that part of the world,” said Capito.
Capito added that Trump’s comments were divisive and not in keeping with the American tradition of religious freedom.
