The Shadyside Tigers rallied from a 7-6 halftime deficit, and flexed its muscle in the second half to defeat Wheeling Central 33-7, on a rainy night at Fleming Field.

The Maroon Knights were the last team to knock off Shadyside in the regular season in October of 2011, which has now stretched to 30 consecutive victories.

Senior quarterback Austin Dorris ran for 104 yards, and threw a pair of touchdown passes. Steve Doughty scored twice for the Tigers, who improved to 7-0 on the season.

Wheeling Central sophomores Isaac Rine and John Burkhalter connected on a 37-yard score in the second quarter.

The Maroon Knights slip to 3-4 on the season. They host Westinghouse next Saturday afternoon at Wheeling Jesuit University for Homecoming.
