Spaghetti Dinner Will Benefit Woman Battling Stage Two Breast Cancer

On July 18, a special spaghetti dinner will be held at the Blaskovick Center in Triadelphia to help raise money for a local woman battling breast cancer.

The proceeds will benefit 71-year-old Barbara Knollinger, who is battling stage two breast cancer and is in need of treatment.

For $7, guests can enjoy spaghetti, salad, a drink and dessert, as well as a silent auction.

Knollinger’s daughter, Amy Anderson, organized the event in hopes to take some of the stress off of her mother’s shoulders.

“My mother is a very outgoing person. And she in the past has done things to help other people and we just feel that at this time in her life and at this bump in the road is a good time for us to step in and return the favors to her,” Anderson said.

The fundraiser will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Tickets can be purchased at the door.
