Special Donations to the Salvation Army Kettle

The less fortunate in Louisville, Kentucky are receiving quite a gift this Christmas.

A gold coin worth more than one-thousand dollars was left in a Salvation Army kettle this week.

It’s called a Krugerrand. The coin is from South Africa and was deposited in a kettle at a Walmart.

Salvation Army officials said the coin is going to help a lot of people this Christmas.
