A Steubenville man who was arrested after being on the run from U.S. Marshals since December of last year appeared in court for arraignment Jan. 30 in Jefferson County.
Terry Green Jr. was wanted out of Steubenville for carrying a concealed weapon and tampering with evidence.
U.S. Marshals with the assistance of Det. Jason Hanlin, the Steubenville Police Department and K-9 Officer Bono conducted a felony warrant at a home on Euclid Avenue the night of Jan. 29. When Green came out the front door, police said they ordered him to the ground. They said two pit bulls out of the house and attacked K-9 Officer Bono.
Green’s bond was set at $60,000.00, but he will not be allowed to bond out until he serves five days in jail starting Jan. 30.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Feb. 10.
