Steubenville Mayor Domenick Mucci Jr. said the city will reap the benefits in 2015 of a lot of the projects started in 2014 at Tuesday night’s State of the City Address.

The mayor laid out what worked this past year and what to expect in Steubenville this upcoming year.

Mucci was optimistic about 2015 and wants people to “love where they live,” but admits the city still has a long way to go. He believes the right people are in place to make sure Steubenville gets there.

“We have challenges, but you must remember you have a dedicated group of city employees, elected officials, and appointed officials working diligently to provide services,” Mucci said. “We continue to work hard to keep our city moving forward and build a better future for our residents.”

Some of the infrastructure activities residents will be seeing in 2015 include the possible rezoning for hotel development along Route 7, a roundabout project on

, and a project that
