Steubenville Schools Celebrate 75th Anniversary With 75 Good Deeds

As part of Steubenville High School‘s 75th Anniversary, schools throughout the district have decided to do 75 good deeds in the community.

Ms. Amy Carducci’s first grade class wanted to get involved, so students collected items such as toys and treats to donate to K9 Bono from the Steubenville Police Department.

“We thought we got to think of somebody in our community that helps us and our community so we thought we should do Sgt. Cook and Bono,” said First Grader, Camden Greiner.

“Doing deeds throughout the football season throughout the school year will help them instill a sense of community within the kids; be willing to give back and show support for the people who help them  in their everyday life,” said Principal, Shawn Crosier.

These good deeds are being done by the schools throughout the football season.

To celebrate the school’s 75th anniversary, the school will be holding an adult social on September 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
