Main Street Bank is getting kids involved in the Christmas season with their annual coloring contest.
Middle School students from Ohio, Marshall, and Brooke Counties took part in the third annual event. A winner was chosen from each county and their artwork is being displayed on a billboard in those counties.
A $500 donation is also awarded to the winner’s school.
“It’s just fun. We get a lot of positive feedback. Everyone likes the Christmas billboard. It’s just a nice thing to have up there for four or five months, and a nice little art program by the local children,” said Rich Lucas, President and CEO of Main Street Bank.
The contest starts every year right after the Wheeling Christmas Parade.
