Suspect in Belmont County Double Murder Arraigned, Bond Set

The suspect arrested in connection with a double murder in Belmont County was arraigned on Tuesday afternoon.

Judge Eric Costine set Okie Barton III’s bond at $2-million dollars.

Police say after a review of the crime scene and a review of the initial 911 call, Barton III was identified as a suspect and arrested in connection with the deaths of LouAnn Barton, 45 and Okie Barton Jr., 48 of Glencoe, Ohio.

Barton III is scheduled to have his first hearing on November 17 at 1:15 p.m. in a Belmont County Court with Judge Costine.
