The Downtown at Sundown Concert Series Returns to Weirton Event Center

Some great acts are ready to hit the stage at another local summer concert series.

The Downtown at Sundown concert series at the Weirton Event Center is returning Friday, June 5. The show kicks off at 7 p.m., but gates will open at 6 p.m.Dr. Zoot, a versatile, seven-piece swing band out of Pittsburgh, will be headlining Friday evening. The PULSE Stomp Team along with The Fletcher Brothers will open up Friday evening.

The concert is free for all everyone and free parking is available for all events in the Strip Steel Community Federal Credit Union lot off Main Street (except in the ATM lane), the alley off Lee Avenue, the Millsop Community Center and on Main Street. 

Weirton Event Center is located at 3322 East Street.

In addition to events planned by the Top of West Virginia, the Weirton Event Center is available for rent for family, community or organizational events. Rental for the Weirton Event Center includes the use of the grounds, on-site restroom facilities, the stage and a paved, covered picnic/meeting area.
