They’re hoping for some good weather this weekend in Wintersville for the annual Thunder in the Ville festivities.
Starting Friday night up at Indian Creek High School, there will be games, train rides, live music and dance, as-well-as a dunk machine for the kids.
The festival has moved around a bit in recent years, and organizers do their best to make it better and better each year for more than two decades now.
“It’s nice to see the kids, see the expression on their faces when they see the fireworks. All of the ‘ohhs’ and ‘ahhs’ that goes on. And even for the adults, it’s nice to have this in our Valley, in Wintersville,” said Thunder in the Ville Chairman, Tom Straka.
Everything kicks off at 5 p.m., Friday.
They’ll be there all day on Saturday and the fireworks show starts at 10.
Everything is free, but the do ask for a donation if you can.
