Families got to see their favorite big trucks at The Touch a Truck event at the Highlands.
This was the second year for the event.
Saturday’s interactive display included a police cruiser, fire trucks, an ambulance, garbage truck, tractor trailers, military vehicles and more.
Kids got to climb inside and sit in the driver seat, honk the horns and safely explore each vehicle.
“It really is what the event is, it is touch a truck, it is touch a vehicle and get involved,” Jean-Anne Renshaw, Board Chair said.”The people who run and operate the vehicles I think they have just as much fun too.”
Proceeds benefit Holy Family Child Care and Development Center, an organization that works to help Wheeling families with their early child care needs.
