Traffic is still backed up after two semi-trucks crashed in Guernsey County late Thursday afternoon.

The eastbound lanes were completely shut down for four hours.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said that a Fed Ex truck with two trailers collided with a Schneider truck.

Packages from the Fed Ex truck were spread all over the median, while the Schneider truck was 70 feet down an embankment.

Three people were injured and taken to the hospital.

Police say that it will likely be early morning before the entire accident is cleaned up.

The accident is still under investigation. Stay with 7News for updates.
