Truck Mishap Ties up Traffic for Hours in Belmont County


A delivery truck mishap tied up traffic for several hours in Belmont County Thursday morning.

According to Belmont County Police Chief Mike Kovalyk, a delivery truck going to Belmont Community Hospital at 47th and Harrison Streets, blocking the parking lot for the hospital.

Chief Kovalyk says the truck had got stuck when the tailgate dug into the pavement leaving the rear wheels off the ground.

A local towing service was called to remove the truck, and no injuries were reported.
