We’re one week away from Thanksgiving, and there’s some good news.
According to the USDA’s latest weekly survey of advertised retail prices, the cost of turkey is down an average of 18-cents a pound this week.
They report last week, frozen turkey cost an average of $1.08 per pound and is now 90-cents per pound.
However, that’s just one-cent less per pound than last year.
The National Turkey Federation estimates Americans eat 46 million turkeys on Thanksgiving.
