Drivers in Marshall County can expect some traffic delays this week as two more superloads are set to move.
It will begin Monday morning at 7:00 a.m.when the superload will begin it’s journey from the Speedway Gas Station in Glendale. The load will then follow WV Route 2 North to Route 86 before heading onto Route 88 to US Route 250. The superload will then travel to Williams Energy Oak Grove Plant on County Road 17, Fork Ridge Road, arriving around 10 a.m.
Another superload will then move on Wednesday and follow the same route. It will also leave the Speedway Gas Station at 7 a.m. and arrive at Williams around 10 a.m.
The West Virginia Division of Highways will provide updates on the superloads’ location on their Twitter and Facebook pages. WVDOH advises drivers to watch their speed and use alternate routes if possible to avoid delays. Weather or unforeseen circumstances could prevent the move as scheduled.
