U.S. Attorney’s Honor Students of Justice Ambassadors

It was a day to recognize high school juniors from across the state who have shown outstanding leadership skills and a commitment to social justice.

United States Attorneys Booth Goodwin and William Ihlenfeld are calling these students Ambassadors of Justice.

A ceremony to honor the students was held Thursday at Independence Hall in Wheeling.

All of the students we talked to said winning this award is something they will always remember.

“I’m honored actually. I’m quite surprised. I try to be humble about every thing, and do the right thing, and apparently it shows. I’m just very honored,” said Rachael Billie, one of the students selected.

Nominations to be U.S. Attorney’s Ambassadors for Justice are made by school principals and administrative leaders.
