U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) continues this tour of the Northern Panhandle Friday. He is scheduled to make six more stops in Hancock and Brooke counties starting at 9:00 am.
The Senator’s first stop will be at Weir High where he will speak at the senior assembly.
He will then be at Williams Country Club at noon to deliver keynote remarks at the Weirton Rotary’s weekly meeting.
He will then make his way south to Brooke County. First he’ll stop at Wellsburg City Hall for an informal meet and greet with local officials. Then he will stop at the Brooke County Public Library to present a book to add to the World War II collection.
Senator Manchin will then tour Eagle Manufacturing and to participate in an announcement about the company’s expansion.
Finally, Senator and Mrs. Manchin will attend the Follansbee Chamber of Commerce Dinner to speak about community service and help present educational grants at 5:30 pm.
On Thursday, Sen. Manchin spent the day in New Martinsville and Wheeling.
