It was a special night for a Moundsville Middle School student who suffers from Becker’s Muscular Dystrophy.
JT Scandinario was treated like a superstar at Thursday night’s football game at West Liberty University.
West Liberty helped to raise awareness for Muscular Dystrophy as part of Coach for a Cure night.
JT got to tour the locker room, join the captains for the coin toss, and stand on the sidelines for the game. His mom say’s JT had a blast.
“It’s just been really exciting to be here. West Liberty has went above and beyond what they had to do for him and were having a really great time,” said Stephanie Scandinario.
JT was introduced to the fans at halftime and a balloon release was held at midfield.
