UPDATE 04/18/2016 6:50 a.m.: Police in Wichita Texas say; they do have Kylee Taylor in custody after that chase, where speed reached more than 100 miles per hour.
Matthew Bateman is still on the run, after taking off on foot, according to our CBS Affiliate in Wichita.
Officials in Texas say they are searching for a missing 14-year-old out of Ohio that ran away from a crash in Wichita Falls, Texas late Sunday night.
Police have identified the missing teen as Matthew Bateman.
The incident started between 10 and 11 Sunday night when officials say they ran the plate on a blue and gold Ford Expedition which came back stolen.

They say when they tried to stop that S.U.V. the driver took off at a high speed.
Officials say the driver lead them on a chase across county lines into Wichita County, and eventually into Wichita Falls.
Officials say they used spike strips, which busted the S.U.V’s tires.
They say that’s when a juvenile man, identified as Bateman, ran away from the car and toward softball fields in the area.
Officials say they detained one juvenile woman on the scene. 7News has spoke with the Wichita County Sheriff’s Department and we are still working to confirm that the girl taken into custody is Kylee Taylor.
As of 4:30 am Monday, police have not caught Bateman but officials are still scouring the area.
