An 18-year-old and 12-year-old were flown to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh after a rollover crash in Richmond, Ohio on Thursday morning.
According to the Wintersville post of the Ohio Highway State Patrol, the accident occurred on State Route 43 in Richmond after the car, which was traveling south, apparently lost control and struck a dump truck traveling in the opposite direction.
The two victims had to be cut from the car. A STAT MedEvac medical helicopter soon arrived on the scene and transported the victims to Children’s Hospital, where they remained in serious condition as of Thursday at noon.
The driver of the dump truck was not seriously injured.
