Very Light Snow Causes Slick Spots, Wind Chills Combine To Delay A Few Schools Friday Morning

Wind chills have dropped to around 5 below zero Friday morning. According to meteorologist Brian Davis, light areas of snow

caused slick areas mainly in the higher elevations. Accumulations up to only around 2/16ths of an inch was enough to cause a fine layer of 

ice to form. As the result, some schools are taking a better to be safe approach.
