W. Va. Attorney General Files Lawsuit Against Drug Distributor

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is filing a lawsuit against a major drug distributor.

On Friday, his office announced plans to take McKesson Corporation to court for allegedly failing to identify and report suspicious drug orders they may have received.

According to Morrisey, it’s that type of neglect that helped cause the drug abuse epidemic we see today.

The lawsuit stated that McKesson delivered 99.5 million doses of hydrocodone and oxycodone to the state between 2007 and 2012.
