Wheeling Police Face Busy Weekend of Drug Arrests


A round of drug arrests were made in Wheeling over the weekend, leaving two men behind bars, and another two facing charges.

Wheeling Police said an officer found JLin Prayear, 23, in the area of 16th and Wood Streets on Saturday evening with marijuana, crack cocaine and hundreds of dollars in cash.   

Prayear is being held in the Northern Regional Jail on charges of intent to distribute.   

Steven Creamer, 50, of Bridgeport was also cited for possession of cocaine.

Early Sunday morning, officers arrested Cordell Coleman, 25, after finding him with a plastic bag that tested positive for cocaine. Coleman is in the Northern Regional Jail on charges of intent to deliver.

Officers also charged Cameron Crowell, 19, of Cleveland with possession of a controlled substance.
