Wheeling Police Respond to Alleged Attempted Child Abduction

On Sunday, Wheeling Police responded to an alleged attempted child abduction. According to police, the incident happened in the area of Hil Dar, around  2:40 p.m.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, approximately 5’9″ tall, with no facial hair, wearing a black jacket and dirty clothes. The suspect was reportedly driving a blue older model sedan, with an unknown plate, make or model.

No arrests have been made and officers with the department are continuing their investigation.
