One woman ended up behind bars after her fight with another women escalated to a fight with police.
Wheeling Police showed up at 15th and Jacob Street just before 3 a.m. to allegedly find Ashley Spencer screaming at another woman.
Officers separated the two and told Spencer she would be arrested if she did not stop yelling. Police said she then continued to yell and even shoved one of the officers in the chest, leading to her arrest.
Police said Spencer then began banging her head against the divider in the police cruiser until officers said they physically stopped.
She is now facing charges of disorderly conduct, battery on a police officer, and obstructing an officer.
Spencer was arraigned in front of Magistrate Harry Radcliffe and given a $5,500 bail.
