Wheeling Woman Sentenced for Heroin, Cocaine, and Painkiller Trafficking

A Wheeling woman was sentenced for trafficking heroin, cocaine and painkillers in the Ohio Valley.

Amanda Caretti, 24, of Wheeling, was sentenced Wednesday to 12 months and one day in prison for her role in a drug trafficking scheme involving heroin, cocaine, and oxycodone.

According to U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, Caretti conspired with other individuals throughout 2014 to possess and distribute heroin, cocaine, and oxycodone in Marshall and Ohio Counties. She pled guilty in September 2015 to one count of “Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute Schedule I and Schedule II Controlled Substances.”
