More than 300 people have already walked through the doors of a local charity focused on getting people jackets, clothes, toys and much more before Christmas.
The Christmas Clothes Closet is in its eighth year, and is focused on serving people from all over the Ohio Valley, and even as far as Parkersburg. Founder Kelley Bozeman said she continues to do this every year because she has been in the same situation that a lot of people are in now. “This is a good thing, we are doing everything we can to help people at Christmas,” she said.
Chris Koegler of Rayland said he is very grateful, especially for the things they giveaway. Tara Patton of Wintersville agreed, “It is wonderful that they have things for people who don’t have so much,” she said.
All of the items available range from being free to around $10. Bozeman said she hopes to open a shop in Wintersville by next week, as well. The Christmas Clothes Closet is currently operating in the Wallace Lodge at Sally Buffalo Park in Cadiz.
